As Tauranga agents for Merlin Gate Automation, we install automation systems for sliding gates, and single or double swing gates.
Depending on your requirements, your system can include remotes, keypads, photocells, exit probes and MyQ smartphone control, allowing you to open, close and monitor your gate remotely.
Merlin Gate Automation is backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Merlin solar gate automation provides an alternative, allowing you to enjoy automated access without extending mains power over a long distance.
We’ll assess your entrance and help determine whether solar automation is suitable for your property.

1.
Start with an estimate
Explore our gate and fence styles, then send us your preferred design, approximate opening width and required height.
Photos are extremely helpful – they allow us to understand the property and recommend options that may work particularly well.
We’ll use this information to prepare an initial estimate.
If you’d like to proceed, we’ll arrange a site visit within the Tauranga area to confirm measurements and discuss the details before providing your formal quote.
2.
Custom manufacture
Once your quote is accepted and the 50% deposit has been received, your project enters our manufacturing schedule.
Your gate or fencing is fabricated in our Mount Maunganui workshop before being professionally powder coated in your selected colour.
We’ll then contact you to arrange installation.
3.
Installation
We’ll install your new gate or fencing and, where applicable, commission your automation system.
The remaining balance is payable on completion.
Typical lead times are approximately 4-5 weeks from deposit to installation, although this can vary depending on workload, powder coating and the complexity of your project.
